I think it is time we take a look at a player that doesn't get a lot of attention on the pitch. I want to talk about the Defensive Mid-Fielder (DMF). This player usually hangs in the back line not really wanting to be fighting, and if they do it is usually to steal the ball away and pass to a teammate. Stat wise these players have a low TAC, average mobility, and a good KICK stat.
Where the DMF really shines is when they are supporting the rest of the team through their abilities. Each one has character plays that either buff a teammate or debuff an enemy. They want to make sure that they do this from a distance and not in the mid-field skirmish.
